Visit this site, which is the official Education & Public Outreach site for the Spitzer Space Telescope. There are many "cool" activities for your students to explore. On the "Links To Activity Guides" page I have added a worksheet I have my students use to guide them through an exploration of the Cool Cosmos site. There is a lot here to investigate about the world of IR astronomy.

Cool Cosmos

CoolWiki is a site that was developed under the guidance of Dr. Luisa Rebull and teachers and students from past years of the Spitzer Research Program for Students and Teachers. It contains LOTS of information about the nuts and bolts of IR astronomy using the Spitzer Space Telescope. Check out what students past and present have done - and are doing - as they investigate the mysteries of infrared astronomy.
